Prime Day 2019

I co-led the campaign for Amazon’s first ever Two-Day Prime Day working end-to-end from helping shape the strategy for the campaign, leading the creative development of the ideas, working with teams and production partners across London, NYC and Seattle to make broadcast spots, radio, print, OOH, Premium Online videos, digital banners and more to highlight Prime Day.

Results:

  • The campaign was adapted in 18 different countries and became the largest shopping event in Amazon history.

  • The event sold over 100,000 laptops, 200,000 televisions, 300,000 headphones, 350,000 luxury beauty products and more than 1 million toys.

  • In the U.S., the top-selling items were the LifeStraw Personal Water Filter, the Instant Pot DUO60 and 23andMe health and ancestry kits. The more you know…you know.

We created digital, social, POLVs that ran before the event and also during the event to drive urgency. We also created custom creative for owned and operated channels including homepage takeovers, in-app placements, emails and so much more. And we did this across all the countries that took part in Prime Day. All-in-all a super, fun, learning experience.
